At Insomniac Games, our Dialogue team manages every stage of game voiceover (VO) production—from recording performances to polishing the final mix. We collaborate closely with teams across the studio to create seamless dialogue experiences that strengthen storytelling and deepen immersion. By giving characters their voices, we help define the player’s emotional connection to our games.
This internship offers hands-on experience with the full dialogue production pipeline. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learn industry tools, and contribute to real in-game dialogue systems.
What You’ll Do- Assist with the preparation, scheduling, and tracking of VO recording sessions
- Edit, organize, and implement dialogue assets into our game engine and dialogue databases
- Support dialogue-related QA, bug fixing, and polish tasks
- Collaborate with audio, design, and narrative teams to ensure high-quality dialogue integration
- Gain exposure to the complete process of dialogue creation for games
- Practical experience working on dialogue pipelines used in professional game production
- Mentorship and feedback from Insomniac’s Dialogue team

- Current enrollment in an accredited university Undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Audio Production, Recording, Sound Design, or a related field with graduation expected between May 2025 and Spring 2027.

- Familiarity with audio production tools such as Pro Tools, Reaper, or similar DAWs
- Understanding of signal flow, audio editing, and mastering techniques

Blizzard Entertainment’s audio team seeks an Associate Producer for Cinematics production across all franchises. Your primary responsibility will be coordinating with the Senior Producer to maintain timely schedules and deliverables for all phases of the audio pipeline. Additional responsibilities include creating contract requests, processing invoices, and assisting with budget tracking. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves collaborating and working with contacts both inside and outside of Blizzard.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.
This is a 12-month temporary position.
What You Bring to the TablePriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Producer and other internal and external audio production teams to assist in the maintenance of project schedules
- Create contract requests, process and receive invoices, assist with tracking spend, and vendor onboarding
- Help to continually refine the cinematic audio pipeline to increase production efficiency and quality
- Identify any risks, bottlenecks, or blockers and communicate status of all projects, assets, tools, and features to Senior Producer and/or Cinematic Audio Director as necessary
