We are looking for a talented Product Manager for our Rights Squad who is passionate about building products to delight and empower clients. This is a highly visible role that interacts with the senior leaders and directly with clients. The position reports to the Director of Product Management.
What you can expect to do //
- Become the expert on Symphonic’s content and catalog management systems, including ingestion, publishing, licensing, rights, and metadata workflows for assets like sound recordings, music videos, and compositions.
- Maintain a steady cadence of work for developers and data engineers
- Document requirements with user stories, wireframes, mockups, detailed acceptance criteria, and other artifacts as necessary
- Work closely with operations teams and other stakeholders to understand processes and needs that can be met with technical development
- Interview end users on a regular basis
- Groom product backlogs on a daily basis and eliminate any blockers
- Envision new features that differentiate Symphonic and solve company and customer problems
- Participate in a fast, continuous delivery development process, including leading daily standups
- Work with QA to ensure that new features meet acceptance criteria
- Own feature launches and monitor adoption
- Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to test and deliver data-driven features that add value

DescriptionCollaborating with system architects to identify creative use cases that are impacted by hardware performance. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

In this role, you will forge close partnerships with the Engineering, Operation and Product teams, collectively charting the course for our innovative endeavours.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a valued member of our growing Engineering team, you will dive into the world of acoustics, collaborate closely with the Electronics, Mechanical Design, and Quality Assurance teams to support our new product initiatives. Your focus will be on conducting acoustic measurements, meticulously collecting and analyzing data to ensure our products meet the highest sound performance standards. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in supporting senior team members to guarantee the quality of acoustic data released to our contract manufacturers and sub-contractors.
You’ll also be involved in high-level acoustic design work, contributing to product enhancements where your insights into sound characteristics and propagation will be invaluable. Furthermore, you’ll conduct benchmark analysis and helps us stay ahead in the market.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the acoustical engineer by doing acoustical and electrical measurements of headphones and prototypes.
- Building headphone prototypes by soldering, 3D-printing, cutting and glueing mechanical/acoustical components.
- Planning and executing critical listening test sessions & user acceptance tests.
- Supporting the team with daily-tasks to facilitate the successful execution of our product development.
