In this role you will be creating immersive environments and dynamic gameplay moments through sound design and proprietary audio implementation tools. You will work directly with a team of sound designers, producers, and various other members of the development team to bring Azeroth to life through audio. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, California. We will also consider a remote contractor preferably in PST.
This is a 12-month contract with a potential 6-month extension if needed.
What you bring to the table:Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Create sound effects for use in ambience, creatures, game objects, spells, and UI.
- Implement sounds using proprietary audio implementation tools.
- Work in collaborative environment, sharing your work and audio perspective with peers in audio and in cross-discipline groups.

3+ years creating outstanding sound effects, backgrounds, and Foley for games.
