Role:As a Senior Sound Designer you’ll support our games vision by creating high quality, innovative and immersive audio experiences and soundscapes through creative and technical excellence. Aiming to evoke emotions through contributing to and elevating the games pace, tone and style. You will create audio assets through manipulating and editing recordings, pre-recorded material and synthesizers. You will help bring characters to life through casting and directing voice actors to fulfill the character designs.
Seniority:As a Senior member of our studio, you will be expected to contribute at a more advanced level, whilst also guiding and mentoring less experienced colleagues. You will also collaborate with peers and other departments to achieve optimal outcomes and solutions, and bring audio perspective into cross-departmental discussions and look at how audio can aid our ideas and products.
Project:Project Baxter is a cooperative action game set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Inspired by our love of tabletop RPGs and built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, we will embrace cutting edge technology to create entertaining and emergent gameplay scenarios. Project Baxter is set to launch on all major platforms in 2026.
Please note, this role must be based in Stockholm with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with the audio team to design and produce original audio content which delivers gameplay immersion and elevates the player experience.
- Collaborate with the narrative department on the style and tone of VO scripts and character design.
- Cast, direct and record voice actors in collaboration with other departments.
- Champion audio direction, advocate audio excellence and deliver on set expectations.
- Collaborate with design, narrative, art, animation and programming teams to provide input and direction to achieve interactive sound, VO and music.
- Collaborate alongside peers and other departments to proactively solve any potential audio related issues to deliver features on time.
- Creating, maintaining and improving audio workflows and pipelines.
- Working with sound designers, programmers and other stakeholders to drive and develop features and systems based on creative vision, current as well as future needs.
- Implement audio assets using Wwise, Unreal Engine and proprietary tools.
- May be assigned a lead role overseeing certain aspects or the entirety of the project.
- Mentor, guide and train junior sound designers.
- Solid experience as a sound designer in game development.
- Passionate about the audio experience and committed to a cross-discipline and playtest-driven development environment.
- Great knowledge of Wwise and strong competence with Unreal Blueprints.
- Fluency with common DAWs with a strong understanding of game audio, game platform limitations and performance optimization.
- Experience with studio and field recording, signal flow, processing and mixing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sound design and all stages involved in delivering a crafted aural experience in-game.

- Work with our Music Director on a range of music tasks to ensure music fits the established audio direction, is delivered on time and meets established technical requirements for interactivity
- Edit and master music tracks
- Implement and troubleshoot in-game interactive music logic, using visual scripting
- Support areas outside of music, such as sound design, when required
- Collaborate with game team to establish overall design and implement specific features
- Participate in scope assessment, priorities and planning

- You have experience in all phases of music design and production, with proficiency in every step of the pipeline; from precision editing and design to technical implementation
- Minimum of three years game audio and/or post-production experience
- Solid understanding of music theory and experience working with modern popular genres of music, however this is not a composer role
- Proficient in using game development tools, technology and pipelines (eg Wwise, Unreal)
