We are on the hunt for an Audio Director for an interactive series being produced with dj2 Entertainment (SONIC THE HEDGEHOG) and Genvid Technologies (Chis Cataldi, Genvid COO).

dj2 Entertainment is looking for an Audio Director with interactive and video game experience to establish and execute an audio vision for a revolutionary interactive narrative project. Must have expertise in audio design and production, with proficiency in sound design, music production, voice production, and experience managing, developing, and mentoring audio staff and outsourcing partners. This candidate should have a passion for video games and other interactive experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Creative Director and team to define an effective audio style and execution across the scope of the project
  • Professional understanding of foley, mixing, recording, sound design, sound implementation, voice over, music implementation and localization techniques
  • Setting the standards and practices for these work categories
  • Clearly articulate feedback to the team to make sure the audio style is implemented
  • Specify requirements for the audio department's needs for tools and pipeline to achieve the interactive experience's goals
  • Design and produce sound effects, music, and VO content
  • Oversee outsource audio services for sound, foley, music, VO, Cinematics, etc.
  • Oversee implementation of audio assets and assist in developing integration tools
  • Act as an expert in proprietary pipelines and integration processes
  • Manage internal audio teams, external audio vendors and schedules
  • Work with the audio team and across disciplines to clearly define and articulate goals
  • Lead by example and provide both motivation and inspiration to other team members
  • Lead all aspects of recording sessions to verify assets are recorded accurately

Requirements & Skills:
  • 5 years working on interactive experience or video game audio, film/TV audio is a plus
  • A seasoned audio veteran with a proven track record of creating compelling industry leading audio experiences in games and linear media, with excellent knowledge and understanding of audio post-production and interactive development processes
  • A passion and deep understanding of the impact and role that audio plays in the overall user experience
  • Mastery over the entire sound creation process from field/studio recording, editing, designing, implementation, debugging, and runtime systems
  • Experience implementing complex interactive audio systems in Unreal
  • Knowledge of game engine technology and audio middleware solutions
  • Skilled in effective communication across all disciplines and departments

We are looking for a part-time (20 hours / week) audio designer with a passion for audio and games to join our team. You’ll take responsibility for all things Audio mainly on Project F4E, though efforts will span to all BetaDwarf’s products and other company needs. You’ll have freedom of method, lots of responsibility, and high expectations. A passionate team with experience and expertise supports and challenges you to deliver the best results.

  • Design sound effects and music to be used in-game
  • Sound asset implementation and integration using proprietary tools
  • Set goals, success criteria, and strategies for all Audio features and work with your tight-knit team to execute your vision
  • Work across the organization to determine Audio needs, deliver on those, and feedback valuable insights

Cloud Chamber is looking for an Associate Voice Designer to join our outstanding audio team. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and assist with planning, organizing, implementing, and maintaining voice-related content over the course of the project. You will be working closely with the audio, narrative, cinematic, and game design teams to help deliver world class voice design and carry out our vision for an ambitious AAA narratively-driven FPS project full of character and personality.

Responsibilities:
  • Integrate voice / dialogue in the game
  • Collect and organize available dialogue data (Mocap recordings, studio recordings, ADR, robo-voice, etc..)
  • Attend Voiceover and MoCap sessions in-house or in external studios
  • Develop and carry out sound treatment of voice where the voice requires effects
  • Make sure that the voice quality/levels meets our standards and specifications
  • Debug, maintain and ensure the final product quality
