Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the seamless porting of sound assets from original formats to various platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).
- Collaborate with Sound Designers to implement and optimize high-quality audio within our games.
- Support the audio team with sound library maintenance, asset management, and documentation.
- Edit, mix, and master audio assets using DAW software and Adobe Audition to meet platform-specific requirements.
- Test and debug audio features to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Work collaboratively with developers to integrate audio using game engine software.
- Apply effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
- Participate in team meetings, providing clear progress updates and highlighting any challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fundamental understanding of audio processing, sound design principles, and game audio workflows.
- Familiarity with slot machine game mechanics and gaming platforms is a plus.

- 5+ years of experience as a Programmer and taking games from concept to completion.
- 2 years of experience in Audio Programming.

We are looking for an Audio Designer. As an integral part of the Audio team, you will create and implement innovative, immersive, and interactive sound effects. You will have an opportunity to experience all areas of game design and development.
As our Audio Designer you will…- Create and communicate innovative concepts based on franchise and audio goals
- Design audio assets that fit the franchise’s style and aesthetic tone
- Integrate audio assets into the sound engine using Wwise (Wave Works Interactive Sound Engine) and proprietary tools
- Post, edit and mix non-linear media when required
- A keen awareness of Wwise Interactive Systems and how they contribute to gaming experience
- 5+ years of audio experience in games, including:
- A proven ability to capture, create and design sound effects
- A solid base of technical audio theory for sound design implementation
- Editing and mixing non-linear media (ex. trailers, in-game cinematics, etc.)
- Conceptualizing and executing audio features and playback systems
- Identifying and solving technical and aesthetic problems

CompensationThe salary range for this position in British Columbia is between $65,000 – $95,000 (intermediate) and $95,000 – 125,000 (senior) CAD a year based on a 40-hour work week. The salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, knowledge, skills and competencies, and business or organizational needs.
