Your Mission:

  • Contribute to all aspects of sound design, post-production and mixing.

Player Profile:

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Audio recording, design, processing and mixing skills.
  • Experience with current audio editing software, such as REAPER, Pro Tools, Logic, Live, Audition, Sound Forge, Waves and other plug-ins.
  • Experience with audio hardware, such as recording interfaces, microphones and outboard processing.
  • Experience with Windows and/or macOS, familiarity with productivity software such as word processors and spreadsheets.

Pluses:

  • Familiarity with multi-channel / surround sound / 3D spatial audio mixing is a plus.

Junior Sound Designer

At TT Games Studios, we’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sound Designer to join our successful audio team, based in Knutsford.  Our studio has enjoyed producing a plethora of varied LEGO movie tie-in titles over the years, therefore, the Junior Sound Designer should be ready to take on any genre, any theme and be able to react creatively to the challenges that arise.  We are a fun loving, hardworking audio team that aims to deliver the most entertaining experience possible through sound.
You should be incredibly passionate about game sound design, always looking for ways to improve the sound and technology used within our games.  The ideal candidate will craft an experience with their work, consider the flow of the game and above all, drive some unique aural experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
• Working with Sound Effects:
    • Creating SFX, from library or original recordings
    • Implementing SFX – using TT Games Studios bespoke editors
• Working with Cutscenes:
    • Laying-out all audio assets (Music/FX/VO/Ambience) mixed in Surround-Sound
    • Liaising with Animation department
• Working with Music (whether bespoke, composed or licence)
    • Editing music files (all aspects), to make game-ready
• Working with Voice-overs (VO)
• Working with and editing localised VO
• For all aspects of Audio:
    • Detailed knowledge of the most common DAWs and plugins
    • The ability to adapt to new technology and game engine tools
    • Awareness of Memory/Disc/ISO management
    • Working with artists, animators and programmers in determining solutions to problems
    • Assisting in testing audio on release platforms
    • Working on multiple projects, simultaneously, according to priorities

Skills & Qualifications:
• HND or above in a related Audio field or relevant Game Audio experience as to meet a similar technical level

Voice Designer

Job description

Bethesda Game Studios is looking for a talented Voice Designer to join our team that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles. In this role, the Voice Designer will coordinate, design and implement outstanding dialogue for our games for current and next generation AAA games. 
 
Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the audio and design teams to create original voice audio content from original scripts through localized languages;
  • Respond efficiently to demands of multiple game teams for voice audio assets;
  • Produce studio-ready voiceover scripts from proprietary tools;
  • Edit, process and implement final delivered voiceovers;
  • Design audio post-processing effects for voiceovers;
  • Work with external voiceover casting/directing/recording studios to plan and coordinate recording sessions;
  • Work with external voiceover localization services;
  • Debug, maintain and ensure the final product quality;
  • Playtest and debug game audio systems;
  • Work with programming team to provide input on future direction of audio tools;
  • Maintain voice documentation such as scripts, casting sides, and post-processing details;
  • Attend voiceover sessions and motion capture shoots where required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience creating professional voice audio for games, interactive or other media;
  • Excellent audio engineering skills, working knowledge of modern studio equipment, recording techniques, microphones and industry standard tools;
  • Experience in voiceover production, casting and directing actors, recording and editing;
  • Strong sound design & technical skills;
  • Familiarity with audio middleware applications such as WWise, FMOD, Unity;
  • Able to manage large-scale voice audio asset production;
