As a Senior Audio Designer, you'll collaborate with the Creative Director and programming team to create sound effects, music tracks, and integrate audio into the game for Just Dance. Your role is to ensure the best possible audio experience for players, immersing them in the game's world.

What You Will Do:
  • Create sound effects for all aspects of the game, from combat to ambient world effects to UI, in collaboration with the Creative Director
  • Coordinate with engineering to design and present sound effects and music in the most effective way to players
  • Either compose or supervise a musician to create music tracks for Just Dance

Qualifications Must-Have:
  • Solid skills in Audio Kinetic Wwise, debugging experience in mobile projects • Sound design skills, audio editing, DSP processing, and mixing (essential to master Pro Tools or Reaper)
  • Knowledgeable in the entertainment industry, including video games, movies, TV series, music, and fashion culture

As our Senior Audio Programmer, you'll play a crucial role within our forward-thinking technology team. Your responsibility will be to develop and enhance audio systems using a third-party sound library, integrating it seamlessly into our proprietary engine based on Entity Component System (ECS) and Data-Oriented Design (DOD) principles.

Working closely with our Research Scientists and Audio Lead, you'll spearhead the creation of simulation-driven sound solutions for our expansive sandbox environments. This work will involve leveraging Machine Learning technologies developed by our internal Research team, pushing the envelope of what's possible in immersive and dynamic sound design in gaming.

Beyond your technical expertise, your role includes shaping our audio programming vision and strategy, and advocating for innovative approaches and technologies. Your work will ensure that our audio systems meets the demands of our ambitious projects and propelling our projects to new auditory heights.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and implement runtime audio systems and features, enhancing the player's auditory experience in our dynamic, open-world sandbox environment.
  • Manage and enhance the audio tools pipeline, leveraging a third-party audio library to meet our project's unique audio requirements.
  • Adopt a breadth-first development approach, ensuring our audio systems are designed for scalability and implemented iteratively.

EA Create Audio is looking for an experienced Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to our Speech/VO audio development team. You will own audio specific project(s), with the goal of creating/maintaining a quality audio experience.
