About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sound Designer with experience of the full Audio pipeline, that will help our team to come up with creative and technical solutions for the audio of our new and ambitious project. You will take part in the important decisions related to audio and drive the sound design and audio efforts forward. To tackle the challenges of this unique project, you are both creative and structured in your work. Gaining and sharing knowledge comes easy to you.

Your day-to-day as a Senior Sound Designer
  • Setting up and improving audio workflows and pipelines
  • Mentoring and collaborating with a multi-disciplin team
  • Leading the audio project across all areas, including groundwork setup, structure, organization, production and implementation
  • Working along-side audio programmers and sound designers to drive and develop features and systems based on creative vision, current as well as future needs
  • Supervising the creative and technical execution of the audio work
  • Helping defining and realizing the sound design vision and technical execution plan
  • Handling communication with external stakeholders and suppliers
Requirements
  • Experience leading a project from pre- to post production
  • Knowledge about audio implementation middleware such as FMOD or Wwise
  • Experience in leading collaboration with external partners such as library providers, outsourcing partners, etc.
  • Good overhead knowledge of the full audio pipeline, including workflow set up, production, implementation and audio branding
  • Experience working with game development teams and coordinating work with various departments such as animation, level- & game design, programming, etc.

BULKHEAD is looking for an Audio Programmer to join our team! As an Audio Programmer you will be responsible for creating, extending and maintaining game audio technology built around UE5. Audio Programmers work with many disciplines, and particularly closely with the Audio and the Core- Tech team.

Through regular communication and interaction with other team members, you will gather the requirements for, and own the implementation of, audio features, pipelines and tools that will enable us to create high- quality games. You enjoy exploring new challenges and are comfortable solving difficult problems autonomously where required.

Turn 10 Studios, the creators of the top selling and critically acclaimed Forza racing games’ franchise, has an exciting opportunity to join the Media team as a Media Sound Designer. A Media Sound Designer at Turn 10 will work as part of the creative team responsible for crafting experiences for existing and new titles within the Forza franchise. Working closely with both internal and external teams the Media Sound Designer will be responsible for all aspects of audio post-production for the Turn 10 Media team. The candidate will work closely with internal creative teams and producers to ensure that all audio aspects of media content are produced to the highest standards and delivered on time.

This role involves combining an understanding of visual narrative and edit flow, technical craft, creative problem solving, and execution in a team-centric environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own and create all aspects of audio post-production, including sound design, mixing, editing, and mastering.
  • Collaborate with the visual creative team and producers to ensure that all audio content meets stakeholder objectives and standards.
  • Participate in creating compelling trailers, cinematics, and gameplay videos with excellent pacing and dynamics.
  • Manage the post-production process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Create and manage the studio’s audio library for media production.
  • Assist in creating sound effects and music for campaigns as needed.
  • Balance quality with efficiency while managing timely deliveries in a production environment.
  • Able to take direction and incorporate feedback.
