Your Mission in Funcom

Working closely with the Audio Director, your role involves upholding the Sound Design Pillars of projects and taking charge of project sound design. As a Project Audio Lead, your comprehension of the entire game development pipeline is crucial. You'll be responsible for managing and empowering sound designers, providing mentorship and supporting career development, ensuring asset quality, fostering cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration, and coordinating with production for planning and scoping.

In your capacity as a highly proficient Sound Designer, your tasks include crafting top-tier assets and leading by example. Collaborating with Technical Designers and Gameplay Engineers on implementation and creative systems, showcasing and sharing techniques, organizing and promoting field and foley recording, giving and receiving feedback, and being a key player in project mix are all part of your responsibilities.

  • Expert knowledge of WWISE Audio Middleware and Unreal Engine.
